WEEK 6 RECAP:
At last! The dragon has been slain! The devil got his due! (Insert cliche about a dominant figure being defeated here!) And no, we're not talking about the Yankees, we're talking about Chris' victory against the previously undefeated three-time champion Dan T. Led by LeSean McCoy and a whopping 17 points from his kicker, Chris did what no one else had been able to do all season. Dan put forth a good effort, breaking 100 points behind Fred Jackson, but it was not enough to overcome Chris' score of 113.40. The good news for Dan is that all of the second place teams lost as well, so at 5-1 he is still a game ahead of the pack, and he also maintains a slight edge in the points lead.

This week's big winner was Jeremie, who chalked up 130.61 points behind Mark Sanchez and Michael Turner. For hard luck Kevin, it was the third time this season he played the guy with the highest score. Guess those are the breaks in fantasy football. Other action saw Marc pass up a golden opportunity to tie Dan for the lead after falling to Eddie. For Eddie (who's getting married this Friday, congratulations Eddie!), Matt Ryan and Jordy Nelson brought their A-games while only Darren McFadden did for Marc. In a match where no one broke 100 points, Dan L. eeked out a win over Nick behind Matt Schaub and his kicker (man, what's with kickers this week?). Mike earned a victory over Paul, whose 31 points from Ahmad Bradshaw weren't enough against a well rounded effort in which all Mike's offensive players averaged double figures. Finally, his name may be "spankfest" but Tom was the one to get spanked this week, as Uncle Joe got 20+ points from Matthew Stafford, Frank Gore, and Rashard Mendenhall to earn the win.

Tom (SD Spankfest) vs. Jeremie (Deez Nutz)

MATCHUP-OF-THE-WEEK
Dan T. vs. Marc. No mystery here that this is the biggie. Dan is without his two biggest players, Fred Jackson and Tom Brady, in this critical matchup against Marc, who is tied for second place. Can Tim Tebow in his first start of the season lead Dan to a win?

LEAGUE NEWS & NOTES:
-As indicated above, Eddie is getting married this Friday. We send our heartfelt congrats to Eddie and our best wishes for the future. With Eddie's getting hitched, Tom and Nick are now the league's only bachelors. Must be nice, guys.
-This week's byes: Falcons, Bears, Packers, Jets, Raiders, Buccaneers
-As a reminder once again, please be courteous to your fellow owners and don't let trade offers dangle in the wind for days on end. You don't have to respond right away, and you're free to take your time to consider it. But once you've decided not to take it, please reject the offer instead of letting it sit there. Paul, for example, has had this happen with three different owners this season, where an offer was made early in the week and come Saturday morning it's still sitting there. Out of courtesy, please reject trade offers once you've decided not to take them.
