WEEK 16 RECAP:
As Mike Goldberg would say, "It is all over!!!!" Eddie has clinched his first-ever records championship after defeating Chris in a solid scorefest. Eddie, who took Maurice Jones-Drew despite many snickers that he was washed up and having knee problems and has been greatly rewarded for taking a chance on Jordy Nelson, defeated Chris behind those two and "Matty Ice" Ryan. Eddie wins $100, his name on the trophy for all time, and that warm and fuzzy feeling of being a champion. Congratulations to Eddie!

And don't feel too bad for Chris. He may have lost this one but he still is miles ahead of the league in points and barring someone hitting the fantasy football equivalent of a hole-in-one on a par 5, will take home $100 and a title of his own: Points Champion. Records and results aside, one would be hard-pressed to say Chris did not have the best team this season. It was a stellar performance by the third-year owner.

In other action, Dan T., our now-dethroned three-time champion, went out with a bang, beating the other Dan and winning the $20 weekly prize. Tom Brady, Percy Harvin, and wise pickup Kahlil Bell all contributed to the victory. Reggie Wayne, Andy Dalton, and Marshawn Lynch all came up big for the other Dan in a losing effort. Wonder where Lynch will be drafted next season.

In other largely-insignifcant games, Uncle Joe and Kevin put on a show, with Joe, Matthew Stafford, and Rashard Mendenhall taking the game. Kevin got a boatload of points from Aaron Rogers but it was not enough. It's been a rough season for both (although unlike Joe, Kevin should be used to it), and hopefully there are brighter things in store next season. Meanwhile, I'm sure we're all looking forward to another offseason of "Kevbone" doing his best Freddy Mitchell impersonation and running his mouth as if he's actually accomplished something.

Poor Marc. He's been solid all season, but in Week 16 Tom got the better of him. As revenge for the infamous, "You fat bastard!" comment from a law school party in 2001, Tom overcame Marc's impressive 131 point performance with an even more impressive performance of his own. Drew Brees did it again, and Ray Rice and CJ Spiller made it happen also. Marc was not without good points from his stars, like Cam Newton and Jonathan Stewart, but it wasn't enough and Tom got the W.

And in the only two blowouts of the week, Paul's topsy-turvy season was topsy again, as Ahmad Bradshaw, Larry Fitzgerald and Brandon Marshall lead him to a lopsided win over Jeremie and Calvin Johnson. And finally, Mike stuck it to Nick, who was without Tony Romo, behind Arian Foster and Julio Jones.

Again, congrats to Eddie, our 2011 records champion! And although it's not official, it might as well be...congrats to Chris, our 2011 points champion!
