Chris entered the week with the lead based on the tiebreaker but ran into a freight train in Marc, who throttled Chris behind Cam Newton and Vincent Jackson. It was a big win for Marc, as he remains within two games of first place. For Chris, well, you know it's going to be a tough day when your linebacker is within fractions of a point of being your leading scorer.
Mike also came into the week tied for first and laid the biggest egg of all, mustering only 68.1 points against Jeremie. Jer got solid point totals from somewhat unlikely sources in Alex Smith and Jerome Simpson enroute to his victory. For Mike, he got good points from Philip Rivers but no one else.
Dan T. was within a game of first place but it was a devistating week for him. Not only did he lose to Tom, who's Baltimore connection of Ray Rice and Torrey Smith got him all he would need to win, but he lost star RB Fred Jackson for the season. Without Jackson, who's been so instrumental to Dan's performance thusfar and a top candidate for "sleeper pick of the year" (although Cam Newton is probably a shoe-in to win that one), the stretch run may prove tough for Dan.
Kevin, who has been on fire lately, won the weekly $20 prize in an amazing game against Nick. Both team scored very well, with Aaron Rogers, LeGarette Blount, and Jabar Gaffney coming through for Kevin and Tony Romo, Victor Cruz, and Cedric Benson putting up big points for Nick. In the end, Kevin outscored his foe in a game where neither participant has anything to hang their head about. Congrats to Kevin for winning the $20 prize.
And finally, in the only game that either didn't have implications on the title chase or result on one owner winning the $20 prize, Dan L. mauled Uncle Joe in what is still considered one of the league's fiercest rivalries. Dan was blessed with high scores from Jay Cutler and Rob Gronkowski, who may have wrestled the title of top TE in FFL this season from Jimmy Graham. For Joe, he only had one player (Matthew Stafford, who happened to be the highest scorer of the week) break double digits.
We only have a few more weeks to go, and there are several teams with legitimate shots at the title. Eddie currently has a one-game lead, but with such a small point total compared to his nearest competitors, he is likely to lose a tiebreaker if there is a tie for first. Good luck to all in the coming weeks!

MATCHUP OF THE WEEK:
Dan T. vs. Eddie. Eddie is in first place by his lonesome. Dan is two games back but still well in contention, although life without Fred Jackson could be tough. Can Eddie keep it up in what had been a most unusual title run considering he is #11 in points? Can our three-time defending champion put a wrinkle in his title hopes while simultaneously boosting his own?
